All-New 2012 Honda CR-V Concept Coming to Fisher Honda in Boulder, Colorado
Fourth-Generation 2012 Honda CR-V Concept Adds Sleek New Styling, Versatility, and Interior Roominess to One of the Best-Selling Compact SUVs on the Market

BOULDER, CO, July 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Boulder's Fisher Honda is proud to announce the upcoming 2012 Honda CR-V Concept. For this new, fourth-generation CR-V model, Honda has completely revamped its incredibly popular compact SUV to offer drivers more value than ever before. Set to hit the market later this year, the 2012 CR-V Concept boasts a variety of interior and exterior improvements to Honda's previous model, the second-highest ranked compact SUV in J.D. Power & Associates' 2011 Initial Quality Study. See the 2011 Honda CR-V, currently being sold at Fisher Honda, here:

The 2012 Honda CR-V Concept is getting a facelift, with a horizontal three-bar grille and a smoothly-integrated, angled front bumper giving it a more aggressive front end than previous models. Multi-reflector headlights are also angled back gradually to sit deeper in the hood than on the 2011 CR-V. Form is not outweighing function on the new CR-V Concept, as these improvements not only give it a sleeker look, but also improve the vehicle's aerodynamics for better performance.

In addition to front-end changes, the 2012 Honda CR-V Concept features redesigned alloy wheels, as well as fender flares that lend the body a more slender and dynamic feel. Rounding out the 2012 Concept's restyling is a back end that wraps smoothly around the side of the vehicle, with rear windows and taillights shifted to create a higher rear focal point.

Emphasizing the 2012 CR-V Concept's bold presence with a sleeker, more dynamic body style isn't Honda's only concern with this fourth-generation model. The new CR-V will also have a lower vehicle weight and more fuel-efficient engine in order to offer drivers better fuel economy on an SUV that already gets 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. Drivers will be able to take long trips in comfort with updated interior features and technology, as well as a more spacious interior and increased cargo room.
