The Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix will be taking place at the Sepang International Circuit next month.

SELANGOR, MALAYSIA, September 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Motorcycle racing fans will be flocking to Malaysia in late October to witness the excitement of the Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
 
The event will be taking place at Sepang International Circuit between October 21st and 23rd this year, as part of the regular MotoGP racing season.
 
Top competitors such as Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Casey Stoner and Marco Simoncelli will all be expected to take part in the race, which is the penultimate date on the 2011 calendar.
 
Spectators will see plenty of exciting action on a course built for speed, featuring four slow corners following two long straights and ten medium to high-speed corners, which facilitates overtaking manoeuvres.
 
Free practice will be taking place all day on the Friday, with qualifying practice set to commence at 13:00 local time on Saturday and the race starting at 11:00 on Sunday.
 
Two-day grandstand tickets can be purchased for as cheaply as 50 ringgits (GBP10.50), while single-day hillstand passes are also available for 15 ringgits.
