Sanderson Ford Sponsors Cave Creek Wild West Days
Sanderson Ford is sponsoring Wild West Days, a four day western event in Cave Creek, Arizona.
GLENDALE, AZ, October 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sanderson Ford is proud to be a sponsor of the 2011 Cave Creek Wild West Days. The event, which is Arizona's largest western venue, will take place November 3-6 and will feature family-friendly activities, events, and entertainment. Some of the events will include gunfight competitions, a golf tournament, musical performances, bathtub races, and period costume competitions.
The Wild West Golf Classic at Rancho Manana Golf Club will kick off the event on Thursday, November 3. All day and evening on November 4, 5, and 6, Six Gun Entertainment will bring award-winning gunfight performances by gunfighting groups from around the country during Gun Down by Sundown. Saturday morning, the Western parade and Walk for 100 will take place. During Walk for 100, hundreds of firefighters, police officers, and service men and women will walk in silence on horseback and on foot to pay tribute to colleagues who have fallen in the line of duty.
Other events at Wild West Days include homemade bathtub races, the Firefighter's Chili Challenge, pig races, a cowboy jail, wildlife exhibits, western art, live bull-riding competitions, and wagon rides. There will also be several events to take attendees back in time, such as the Thieves Market, Icons of the West, and the period costume competition.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Luv Shack Horse Rescue, the 100 Club of Arizona, the national Rett Syndrome Foundation, and the Desert Foothills Community Association.
