Phoenix Race Works Reveals New F1000 Racecar for 2012 Season
Lighter, faster and more aerodynamic, the PRW F1K.12 is ready to race
PEORIA, AZ, November 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With an innovative chassis and suspension design, the Phoenix Race Works F1000 racecar, dubbed the F1K.12, was announced publicly today with finalized computer-aided design images and is already in production.
Dustin Wright, Owner and Chief Engineer at Phoenix Race Works commented, "The chassis derives from the success of previous cars. The approach has relied less on iteration and instead has called for new ideas and optimized design of the aero package by utilizing advanced 3D computational fluid dynamics, finite element and suspension analysis tools. The past few years has shown that our car's design was a model of performance, but there was room for improvement on the aerodynamic front. We have applied everything we learned building and racing the previous racecars and were able to make this the most aerodynamic and lightest car in class."
The recently announced partnership between Phoenix Race Works and Edge Engineering has so far demonstrated progression towards the ultimate goal of producing the most dominate F1000 racecar in history and giving competitors the platform needed to secure a championship win. Improvements will more closely integrate the partnership, accelerating and ultimately delivering developments to the track in a shorter and more effective fashion.
The Phoenix Race Works F1K.12 pricing is to be set at $52,500 USD depending on available options. Phoenix Race Works is committed to maintaining their reputation of providing the most comprehensive race package with no indiscreet pricing.
